Cheesecake would be cheesecake translated into our language, but that translation would be far from the truth. It’s definitely a cake, also known simply as cheesecake in Slovenia. Its preparation can be very simple, but it offers many additions that delay the whole cheesecake project. It’s a single- or multi-layered dessert, and the largest of them all is a version made with cream cheese, sugar, and eggs. If the cheesecake also has a bottom layer, it’s mostly made with harder ingredients that give it some base. We know that cheesecake is a delicious dish that can be prepared in many ways. We’ve gone through the best cheesecake recipes and tackled some of the most traditional ones too.
A recipe for a classic cheesecake
For a very classic and easy cheesecake recipe, we need half a kilo of biscuits of your choice, 100 grams of butter, 900 grams of cream cheese, a pot of sugar, 150 grams of sour cream, four eggs and a teaspoon of vanilla extract.
Preparation procedure:
Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius. Grind the biscuits and add the melted butter and mix until a biscuit dough forms. Pour into the cake tin and press evenly onto the base and spread. In a bowl on medium speed, combine cream cheese, vanilla extract, and sugar. When a smooth mixture is obtained, add the eggs one at a time, beating on the lowest speed. When a smooth mass has formed, pour it into the model on top of the previously placed cookie dough. Place in the oven and bake on the set heat for about fifty minutes. Leave the cheesecake in the oven for twenty minutes and then remove it. Allow to cool, then place in the fridge where the cheesecake will stay overnight.

Some tricks for the perfect cheesecake
Cheesecake is an easy dessert, but a lot can go wrong. To ensure that each cheesecake recipe is executed as it should be and even faster than the advertised time, we have prepared some tricks to improve cheesecake.
Keep your cream cheese at room temperature. It is important that the cream cheese is free of lumps and can be easily mixed with the other ingredients. Cream cheese that’s too hard doesn’t mix easily, and lumps and lumps form. If you forgot the cream cheese, you can chop it into smaller pieces and heat for about twenty seconds, which is just right. Your cream cheese will be at room temperature.
You can use quite a bit of flour in your cheesecake. Your dessert will be creamier and more cohesive.
Add a little sour cream to ensure your dessert bakes properly. For many, the slightly stronger flavor of sour cream will lighten up nicely while also making the cheesecake even creamier.
If you mix too much or too fast, the texture will be different. These mixing methods create air bubbles and resultant cracks and bumps in the cheesecake. Stir according to recommendation and by feel.
Do not open the oven while you are baking the cheesecake. This will allow all of the moist and hot air to escape from the oven, causing the cheesecake to fall or bake unevenly.
Gradually and gradually cool the cheesecake. Leave it in the oven for the first 30 minutes after baking to cool down to a certain temperature. Then leave it outside at room temperature for a while before putting it in the fridge
If you bake it for too long, the dessert will crack or even burn. You’ll know the cheesecake is done when the edges are baked and the inside is a little flexible. Such a consistency is the best version of cheesecake.
